Current NSW Covid-19 Restrictions: As of 21 September 2021

Destination Wedding Planner NSW

There is a lot of confusion around weddings in the current NSW climate as different regions are under different rules and parts of the state are going in and coming out of lockdown every week so here are the current rules for weddings in Sydney and in the Mid Coast LGA where I provide my services.

SYDNEY RULES FOR WEDDINGS

Small weddings with no reception after

No more than 5 guests outside the wedding party

The wedding party includes:

  • the two people getting married
  • two witnesses required for the marriage
  • one person conducting the service
  • one person to record the wedding

Small weddings can only be held outdoors or in venues open for funerals

No weddings can be held in domestic premises.
